What is First Aid?
First aid refers to the immediate medical care provided to individuals who are injured, unwell, or involved in an accident. The primary goals of first aid are to ensure the person’s safety, prevent further harm, and preserve life. Typically administered by individuals with basic first aid or medical training, first aid involves prompt and effective short-term treatment until professional medical help can be obtained.
